My name is Barbara and i am a documentary photographer based in Lugano, Switzerland.

My favorite moments as a photographer are the ones where i hang out with my family and take my camera along...no set up and no expectations...just me taking pictures as the day unfolds...capturing the magic of what seems to be ordinary.

That's how i approach all my photo sessions.

i love documentary photography so much because

i always find that the unexpected and spontaneous photos are the ones we end up appreciating the most.
